Working with the National Mining Museum and Midlothian Council to model a Solar PV system on the old office. The Museum is struggling to keep up with rising costs and Solar PV and Battery will pro­vide much needed relief. This case is unique as we have been granted permission to install on a Grade A listed building.

Once planning permission was granted, we were able to installed a 10.00 kWp Solar PV System with a 15 kWh Battery Storage Unit. This has drastically decreased their Energy Bills and dependence on the National Grid and by making the building 98.81% self-sufficient.
